The British High Commission deals with political, commercial and economic questions of interest to the UK and Zambia and also provides consular assistance to British nationals in Zambia. The BHC in Lusaka also houses UK Trade and Investment (UKTI). UKTI works with UK-based businesses to ensure their success in international markets through exports.
